Elaine Davie, MSW, RSW

Counsellor

Elaine received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Calgary in 2010. She also received her BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) in 2002 and has worked in the field since that time.

Some of her work experience includes working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families with concerns such as trauma, PTSD, domestic violence, sexual violence, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, stress management, divorce and separation, etc.

Elaine utilizes a variety of therapeutic methods to meet each client's needs best; solution-focused, client-centered, strength-based, narrative, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, somatic therapy, play therapy, and art therapy. She has also had her advanced training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy.

When Elaine is not working she can be found day tripping discovering and exploring new places, walking, photography (taking pictures not professionally), listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
